May I start by saying I absolutely love this piece! I think the lighting you have created makes the figure seem so tangible and real. The contrast between the strong tones on the figure and the fading background create a wonderful sense of depth that I think is definitely the strongest aspect of the work, for me.
I have rated the piece 4 for vision because I think your work has a strong potential for creating a narrative within the piece - it is so mystical and dreamlike - but within the work itself there are not enough elements to create one. One might argue that this work's simplicity is what completes it but I feel something is missing in that I am searching for clues as to who she is. What is the character's story? The colours are so sombre and melancholy (something I absolutely love) and I think they begin to create a story, paired with her expression, but for me the work needs a little more for it to be complete, something to give the audience hints and to lead their imagination further.
I rated the work 5 stars for impact because the atmosphere you have created with all of the elements I mentioned (colour, light, depth) is so strong and it really draws you in to the piece!
Overall I think this piece is so magical and beautiful. Really nice work!
